Writing & Research
I am pursuing an additional graduate degree. Visual Anthropology emphasizes multi-modal techniques such as video, photography, and mobile applications. The goal is to explore and uncover not only how people use digital tech but to reveal why they use it and how we can steer digital technology innovations in a direction that creates positive and helpful human-to-human interaction rather than divisive and problematic cultural behaviors.
My research includes looking at digital culture, the socioeconomic impact of the people who make technology, and how people perceive the ideas that come out of digital culture.
