Digital Sabbath is time off connected devices to reconnect with family and friends and most importantly, your own thoughts.
Users can choose a time to send all of your devices and social media to rest. To remove yourself from feeling obligated to read or respond to texts and calls, disable the internet connection at home and unplug from the digital world.
In this way, Sabbath borrows a religious ritual to tame hyper connectivity, and uses devices to switch off devices and tech to fight tech.
Sabbath is the first of several “Disconnected” product and service concepts I am working on in 2019.
