Writing & Research
My research includes studying digital culture, the socioeconomic impact of the people who make technology, and how people perceive the ideas that emerge from digital culture. Visual Anthropology emphasizes multi-modal techniques such as video, photography, and mobile applications. The goal is to explore and uncover how people use digital tech, why they use it, and how we can steer digital technology innovations in a direction that creates positive and helpful human-to-human interaction rather than divisive and problematic cultural behaviors.
